Airport stay.

This was a great one night stay. Very close to airport only 10 minutes away with free airport shuttle. Free continental breakfast. Room was very comfortable as well.

Some road noise and shuttle to airport was bizarre as the van was loaded beyond capacity and was standing room only. Hotel needs shuttles on the half hour if they are overbooked.

Overall it wasn’t too bad of a stay but not worth the money. Rooms were a little small. Also, the bathroom drainage was slow. Property had Limited Street parking with minimal lightings.

The hotel itself was ok but they ordered a taxi for us for 4am we mentioned we needed it to be on time and it was confirmed it would be there. It wasn’t even when we called 15 min were told it was on the way, the driver turned up with attitude started swearing saying it’s nothing to do with him about our flight time he also took another full paying passenger so we had a shared taxi that was late and were charged full price. Will never stay at any comfort inn again as they say airport shuttle but then send an email saying it starts at 5am …

The hotel is directly across from a NY Sanitation Department truckyard which gave off a terrible smell. We had a room facing the truckyard and could smell it even with the windows closed. We moved to a room facing the rear and we still smelled the garbage trucks. You you have to keep the windows closed. Also, the room we had was incredibly small and cramped. The hotel condition and facilities were otherwise fine.

All of the employees at this hotel are exemplary. The hotel is clean on the inside but because of construction and I think piles of covered trash on the outside made it quite smelly. Breakfast was excellent and breakfast employees were amazing. Again, the interior is impeccable and the employees are all excellent. Airport shuttle service was also efficient, on point and very hospitable.

The property is extremely convenient to JFK Airport - only a ten minute shuttle ride. You may have to wait a short time for the shuttle, since pick up area is outside, but weather was not a factor for this trip. Price is a little high (over $300/night with taxes) but not unusual for hotels in this area. Paid extra $50 for late checkout past 12 noon - got us to 3 p.m. Had a late evening flight, so relaxed in the dining area (actually missed breakfast - ends at 9 a.m. during the week which is pretty standard) until using the shuttle service for trip back to the airport. Room was a bit cramped for two people (king bed) but was sufficient for our one overnight prior to overseas travel.

I stayed here on a layover in NY for a flight the next day. First off, the shuttle to the hotel was nice and convenient. When I got there, I asked the receptionist if the room I was assigned would be quiet given that I’m a light sleeper and I was traveling the next day. She assure it would be. I was placed on the first floor, which is on the same level as the street. Right outside of my window were people hanging out and speaking loudly on the corner. It was also right across from the elevator. I was awoken multiple times as other patrons were checking in and out. A few moments after I got to the room I noticed a used water bottle under the desk. I called reception to report and the response was “that is crazy. I am so sorry.” I asked if the room was even clean and she said yes it was reported to be clean but they might have just missed the bottle. No one was sent to remove it or anything. I was advised to just leave it there. There is a large smart tv in the room, however the options to use Netflix wasn’t available. I called again to ask how I could get access to it and she said to do the exact things I’d already explained had not worked. Her response was well I don’t know what else to say. No further steps were taken. I’ll say the positive about this is that it’s close to the airport.
