Dangerous area, hot spot for predators and an open parking lot so good luck with car rentals. Hotel room was filthy and shower drain backed up with curly black hairs. Supposed to stay 5 days checked out on the first day, refused to give me a refund.

Pros: Great customer service, friendly and comfortable atmosphere, easy checkin/checkout process, room was clean and good space for one person, built-in shampoo/conditioner/bathwash dispensers Cons: Broken window curtains couldn’t fully close, broken conditioner and soap dispensers made product dispense very slowly

Room was teeny tiny. Smelled like cigarettes very badly. No fitted sheet. They put a flat sheet that didn’t fit the bed as the fitted. Dirty fitted sheet under the sink. Empty roll on tp holder and a 1/4 roll on sink. Overall gave me the heebie jeebies and would never go back.

In a good area to use public transport. It was clean, well taken care of and well stocked with necessities. Very kind staff as well. Nice tv with streaming services downloaded. The only real down side was I had very little service but that could just be my phone plan.

Staff was nice. Thecwater in the bathroom ran all night. Our sheets had weird " white stains " on them.. and listening to doors slam all night sucked. We left at 230 am because we couldn't sleep.

Drove from Massachusetts to New York just to be told they overbooked and we went to check in a hour before the man at the desk said it’s too early didn’t ask for my name which I would have known that the reservation was cancelled and not have gone back!!!!

Nice Place Even Better Price For NYC

Check-in was very easy. The room was clean however smelled of smoke. I opened the window to air out while I walked to find something to eat. When I returned it was better. The room was very small but clean. The location was good. I was able to walk to a few choice food places.

This hotel is an excellent deal in Flushing. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the main downtown of Flushing which has lots of great places to eat and access to the subway to get to other parts of New York. Goldy and Keten and all of the staff at the Grandview were very helpful and very courteous during our 7-day stay. Yes, the rooms are small, but are nice and had all we needed. The hotel is also close to a bus line if you prefer not to walk. Easy access to Citi Field if you want to take in a Mets game. The Grandview is a great deal with easy access to all New York has to offer.

The hotel is located in a convenient location, within walking distance to Flushing and the subway stop. There is a big grocery store and numerous eateries nearby. The hotel is small. Room is on a smaller side too. The bathroom was clean and spacious enough. The floor wasn’t as tidy, but the bedding was clean. TV was functional with major channels. Free parking was a big plus.

Building looks good from outside, but rooms are very small. Bedsheet was dirty. AC a lot of dust at the front filter area and it was flying when ac was on. Room was full of hair, poor cleaning.
