If you are looking for just a place to crash between flights than this would be the place for you. Rate was pretty cheap however once you step into the hotel- you know why. It’s not ADA friendly since there are steps from the lobby to the first floor and if your mobility is challenged than getting to your room would be quite difficult.
I’ve stayed at many hotels and some offer early check in and some don’t. Some charge a fee and some don’t- what I found the most sketchy here was- I was told one rate and then when I wasn’t willing to pay that it was lowered but was told cash only and no receipt was provided; which lead me to think-So is there really a fee?!
The rooms were pretty basic. We had two. One was a little more spacey than the other.
breakfast needed some serious help. There was an option of waffles but their waffle iron was not working right and waffles wouldn’t cook correctly. Cereal was offered but once bowls are out, they will not restock the bowls even if it’s still within the breakfast window. I asked and was told just not we don’t have any more. (They had more as I noticed some were pulled out in the evening n left on the counter).
The only juice option was orange and was severely watered down.
We ended up eating breakfast out 3/4 days.
Location is close to the JFK but far to everything else. Uber to Manhattan averaged at $120 however if your okay with bus/subway than that would cost u $2.90 and over a hour for both.
We arrived at our room to find it filthy and infested with bedbugs and other vermin. There was a white powder sprinkled by the rooms in the hallway which shows that they were aware of this condition. Because of the total unacceptability of the room conditions we immediately left the rooms as our photos will indicate and requested a refund. We were promised one as soon as the manager came into work on the monday. It has not happened and when Icalled to inquire about this , was hung up on.
Lobby personal was excellent. Room was comfortable, clean, mini fridge, safety box, bathroom enough conditioner, towels, soap, shampoo, and lotion.
The shuttle serve was very good.

Bus transfer to airport is difficult. Phones at the airport do not connect long wait outside for the transport
The room was dirty. We had to change rooms because the door to the first one wouldn’t open. Then, the bathtub in the new room didn’t work properly, and when we showered, the water wouldn’t drain. It was very disgusting, and the smell was horrible.
The bed was good, but there was a lot of noise coming from outside.

Shuttle is unpredictable. I called at 11:40pm and they straight up lied to me and said we sent the shuttle and it didn’t find you and came back. I had to uber myself at midnight to the hotel.
Do not stay here. It was like sleeping in a subway station. We specifically requested a cot which they failed to provide and when they did it was without sheets.
You get what you pay for. The property is in a very poor area of town. It was noisy all night. There were cars driving by with the stereo blasting, sirens, yelling, cars peeling out, etc. The rooms were rundown and dirty. There were hairs in our beds when we first got there. The beds were okay. The breakfast was dismal at best. They only put food out once and when it's gone, it's gone. They do no refill it, so get there early. Many guests were bringing armfuls of food back to their rooms. You have to go down several steps right after the check-in counter to get to the rooms. There is an elevator but it didn't appear operational. This was very difficult to navigate with elderly parents and a toddler in tow plus luggage. The front desk staff were okay. Not very friendly but not mean.
Not the best of areas. Hall carpet was dirty, stained and smelled. Room had moldy, musky smell. Walls in room were scuffed. Bathroom was clean and close to airport with shuttle provided is only thing positive I can say. Will NOT be staying here again.
