Poor at best

The room we were in 1108 was very noisy from the traffic etc outside. While I understand it is an airport hotel I had asked for a quieter room & would have preferred to be on the other side of the main road. Again while I understand it is a New York airport hotel the price for everything like food etc was astronomical with no options otherwise. I forgot slippers & when I asked for some I was told “we don’t have those at this hotel” when I tried to change a large bill I was told there was no cash & to go ask the valet man for change….no thanks. I should think an establishment such as this would be more accommodating. The shuttle from the airport & back was over crowded & I felt there should be more than 1 van during peak hours. That being said the drivers could not have been more pleasant. I’m not sure I would return to this particular hotel especially with the high cost of staying there. Just not worth it.

I will not be staying at this Doubletree again. It was definitely not worth the price I paid for the room. They double charged us for parking and have been giving us the run around when trying to get a refund for the extra charge. It was noisy and our room had ants. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

There was no free parking and trolls for guest to use to move their luggages into their rooms which made it hard .

Eh… served it’s purpose but bad service

We had a nice suite here for a long layover through JFK. I messaged the property 2 months in advanced asking about the shuttle and never got a response. I called a few days before our trip and was told the shuttle ran at the top of the hour and the bottom of the hour. After waiting for shuttle pick up after our flight for about 30 minutes or so, I called and asked where the shuttle was at. We had seen the Courtyard Marriot, Renaissance, etc. pick up 3-4x each before our shuttle came. We waited over an hour to be picked up. Front desk had not apologies and was rude. Room was comfortable and served its purpose. I liked that they had some in room peloton classes. Restaurant food didn’t look great, although we ordered DoorDash.
