Wasn't bad, but wasn't great

The parking was probably the most frustrating part about staying here, otherwise the location is great as close to everything. My only complaint about the room itself was lots of hair on the bed that definitely did not come from me.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. When I checked in, I was assigned room 251. It is directly above a stage where a band was playing and I was told would be playing until 11pm. Having two children with me and being exhausted from an 8 hour plane delay the day before, I requested a different room. The two male employees working were completely uncompassionate, even gaslighting me that this “comes with the territory” and trying to convince me that my room is not above the stage. They said no managers were available, that the hotel was booked to capacity, and that there was absolutely nothing they could do. My daughter and I should not have had to cry ours eyes out over rudeness and lies. I was standing there crying while they told me something was wrong with me, making other guests laugh at me. It was humiliating. I was paralyzed and stood at the counter a while to figure out what to do to get a new hotel. Using my phone. Another guest came up beside me and requested a room for the night. The employee directed her to book online. I said I would rebook online to get a different room and work out a refund with a manager who apparently would not be available until the morning. At this, the older man tried to convince me I would hear the band in any room in the hotel. I said I’d take the chance, but before I hit the button to rebook, he handed me new keys. He had lied to me, humiliated me, caused me significant distress.

Great location

Hotel was great. Staff was friendly. Check in and out was easy. Continental breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Location was fantastic. Five minute walk to casino. Five minute walk to State Park. I would definitely return.

I was told I would have to pay 9.95 at the property from Expedia. The hotel charged me 19.95 for parking when I checked out. I questioned them about it and they said "it's a tourist area so you have to pay for parking". Really, I have been to lots of tourist areas and not had to pay for hotel parking.... Then, I received an email after I checked out and was at home about the parking! Food - there is a sign that says 2 waffles per person and 1 lady was standing there for over 30 minutes making waffles! No staff intervened and the line for the other waffle maker was extremely long. Ran out of coffee, counters/machines were dirty. No one wiped tables off when people got up. Poor layout for distribution of food... Just not a good place to get a breakfast! My family will never stay here again and recommend you don't either!

The LITERAL only good thing about this hotel is the location. Quick walk to many attractions on US side and there’s a pedestrian bridge to Canada! The hotel is very old and dirty. Our room was fairly clean (bed was clean and comfortable). The bathroom had mold in the shower and was very drab. Parking was not good either. $20 per day at a ramp that’s 3 blocks away. You can go in and out but have to have your parking ticket “validated” each time. The pool and hot tub were disgusting. Like murky water. It seemed slightly better the next day, maybe they shocked it. But overall, nasty. And last but not least…BREAKFAST. It was horrible, I mean, H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E…. They have 3 waffle irons with a huge line everyday. Takes 35 minutes to get a waffle. Then there’s toast/bagels. I went to get some dry cereal but there’s no milk. Juice was empty, coffee machine out of order. Nothing else to eat. Do not stay here.

Daily room service (regardless of length of stay) should be available. Breakfast is supposed to be available until 10 am. However, if you arrive after 9 there’s hardly anything left. When i requested extra towels be sent up to room, was told I needed to go down to front desk to get them. Having to leave one’s garbage outside of door daily also wasn’t great.

Walking from the hotel to the falls was a great walk ; my mother who is a senior citizen could do it with no problem either!
