Needed an affordable quite place to stay for a week for myself while my son participated in a summer program at West Point. The room was large, but the building and furniture were old and in need of some repairs. The staff was friendly. Overall, it met my needs.

Route 9 diamond in the rough

This is a conveniently located, clean, comfortable, safe, low-cost, no-frills motel, the kind where you bring your own toiletries and hair-dryer and might have to ask for extra towels. (Think Schitt’s Creek, not fancy nor pretending to be). Beds are great and showers are hot. Everyone at the desk is completely friendly and helpful. I have stayed here multiple times and can totally recommend this property.

To stay here, you’ll need to bring your own lightbulbs, shampoo/conditioner, coffee AND coffee maker. When asked if there was coffee in the lobby, the host emphatically said, “NO” and hung up when I said, “ok, thank you”.
