We love Longstreet. The only problem was the clouds, which were pretty, but we were hoping to see a meteor shower in the dark skies of Death Valley. It's not the newest place, and some would call it kitschy, but it's a standalone place on the edge of nowhere. It's clean and safe, the restaurant has a smaller menu but the food is good and reasonably priced, they have a bar, a small casino, a pond, a pool, a hot tub, a little store that's open 24hrs, so basically, everything your need. Look at this place on Google maps satellite image... it's the only thing there. Either you're looking for that, or you're not.

I paid $180 for a room that was barely worth $100 and woke up to the ducks on our patio. My only option was 2 double beds. Cheap small towels. Old gross carpet with stains. Just all around not worth it. It basically was our only option being that far out. Restaurant closes at 830pm also. Drive further into Death Valley to get something better. I don't recommend this place.

A wonderful hotel that was a pleasant discovery on our trip. Clean, cozy, beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. We were especially delighted by the pond with a small waterfall and birds.:-)

All the amenities were good. The young lady that checked us in was ok. Just in the middle of our what should have been (quick check in) she stopped, helped another customer on the convenient store area which literally just walked in and we waited. The customer service was a little lacking. Check out was quick and easy, very cheerful greeting from a different young lady in the morning. Thank you… we will definitely stay here again next time through this area.

Back in Time

This place actually creeped me out a bit. The room was clean and straight out of the 70s. People smoked in the old casino. The grounds were nice but the place across the street that looked abandoned lit up and had business. I could not sleep thinking our car and trailer would be broken into. The staff at the place were nice, and the food was decent.
