Nice Place But Needs Darker Shade or Drsoes

Hyatt Hotel was very clean and had nice relaxing decor. The breakfast was adequate and had several different food to choose from. One problem for me though was the shade on the bedromvwindow was semi sheer and let in a lot of light. A blackout shade or drapes would have been more comfortable.

My friend and I planned a hooky day from work to go to the Untermeyer Garden and the cloisters. The Hyatt was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! All the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly.

As a Sarah Lawrence parent, this is so convenient to campus. I was a little disappointed that the duvet on one of the beds had been washed so that the feathers were clumped and hard. I would have retired that one. Also there was mold under the soap dish on the wall. Because they use the wall mounted liquid soap and shampoo dispensers, the soap dish has no purpose but to be a place for mold to grow. I would take them out of all the bath tubs. Breakfasts were great and staff are always wonderful.

It was one of the best places we've stayed at in this area. We love and hate the key card system. When it is working, it is on point for the extra security, as without it, you cannot get on the elevator or access the floors. My card was deactivated twice; however, staff was always available to reactivate it. Everything else was perfect. There were no loud crowds after hours, and the bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet night.
