Pros- clean facilities, decent breakfast, comfortable bed, lotion shampoo conditioner and body wash provided in a big bottle, nice tv( doesn’t have cable subscription) Cons- amenities times doesn’t match what’s online,there’s a security deposit charge upon arrival after you’ve already paid for your room, and a parking fee

Check-in was fast, easy, staff is respectful, friendly. I've stayed in this hotel many times, with very little to no complaints. My room being filthy, has never been one of them, I stay here because my room has always been reasonably clean, outdated but clean. I was given a dingy, dark, dirty room. It smelled horrible, the carpet had huge stains everywhere. I called and was given another room, it was in way better condition, they apologized, but upon closer look, it still had issues. They changed all the lighting to daylight and the rooms are darker and dont feel cozy. Beds were uncomfortable and food was just ok. Parking used to be free, it is now to my surprise $15 per day. After this experience, I will now be staying elsewhere. I value cleanliness over most anything, i can overlook an uncomfortable bed, but the room and common areas must be clean, otherwise, is the bed/pillows/linens really clean?

Clean,responsive service in a good area.

I always stay here when I come up to New York my hometown. And the hotel has good service. It’s always clean and the people are very responsive. I noticed during this last trip that the hotel is starting to show it’s age. Maybe time for summer renovations even if they’re done over period of time.

I stay here because it’s safe, and its location is conveniently located to things like Yankee stadium, the Bronx Zoo, and Stew Leonard’s..all great experiences for the kids. The rooms are always clean. However, if anyone else is checking in or out at the same time as you, you can be sure the wait takes some time. The pool has a new rule that it is no longer open until 5pm and stays open only until 9. If you have kids, especially young ones, finding things to do until that time is challenging. Then you have to go to the front desk to sign a paper and ask them to unlock the pool door while in your bathing suit…super uncomfortable and inconvenient. The pool was so foggy you couldn’t see to the bottom and pretty cold for an indoor pool. Lastly, there is a parking fee on top of already paying for the room. Just an additional $15 but to me is ridiculous considering there is a large parking lot with plenty of spots to spare. Not sure I’ll stay again.

There is a charge for parking.

The shower door did not stay closed during a shower, also the Hamptons should charge for parking. We will make a better choice next time with so many hotels in the area

Good stay- housekeeping needs boundaries

AC didn’t work well but they accommodated with a fan. Then shower broke and wouldn’t turn on and they didn’t have more rooms of our type but provided us a room to shower in. The only downfall was that housekeeping kept trying to come in the room BEFORE checkout more than once even with the sign on the door. Front desk staff was nice.

Room was good. Clean. 4 sets of towels is appreciated. Breakfast was a good selection and stocked welll. The hallway carpet on the room floor could use a regular vacuuming. Not very clean. Parking lot had a lot of trash. Not sure why so many people can’t dispose of it properly. Charging for parking at $15 a day is a sham.
