Apartment Style Stay Off The Strip

Apartment style stay off the strip. We’ve stayed here several times while visiting our daughter, but the condos are showing their age. Cracked tiles, worn beds that are not comfortable, etc. It’s clean and safe, just older.

We were disappointed the shuttle to the strip wasn’t operating. One day the driver wasn’t available and the other day the shuttle had a flat tire? They charged for extra coffee packets for the room, but didn’t provide free coffee in the lobby like advertised. Rooms were not well insulated and you could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and outside.

Overall, the facility is in decent condition. The units are set-up like apartments and are clean. Some things (like leaking toilets) showed signs of ware but were not big inconveniences. The facility was not relaxing for us and did not meet the purpose of having a getaway (which we do every month to Las Vegas so we know of comparable options). We loved the location, space, and cleanliness. The reasons we won't be back are: ridiculously early check-out (and they clearly don't ever expect to grant late checkouts), poor quality fitness center with no free weights, and having to clean the room before departing (including taking trash to the dumpster and removing all linens from beds, running the dishwasher, etc -- if I wanted to do all the heavy cleaning I would stay home and clean there, and we aren't dirty or messy guests, but I thought it was a bit much how early we had to check out but then we spent most of the morning of checkout completing their chore list).

Great location for Red Rock Canyon

We come to Vegas for Red Rock Canyon to rock climb and hike. This is the perfect base camp for that. Only a 15 minute drive to the park. After a day of burly excercise it is so nice to relax in the hot tub and swim in the pool. The units are well equiped with full kitchen and are spacious. All the staff are friendly. We also met many nice people from all over the country and the world. We mostly ate in (easy grocery shopping at nearby Smith's) but also found a couple of excellent nearby resraurants: Aroy Thai and Anna Marie's Italian (old fashioned but charming). We hope to return soon!
