Please make the beds

Everything was wonderful except that we were surprised that although we had requested service for the room, the beds were not made. The towels were changed and the trash had been emptied so we knew someone had been there. It was a first for us and frankly not a good thing. We hope that in the future the beds will be made daily. Otherwise the staff, especially the porters and valets are excellent.

The property is showing its age in the rooms. I thought the bathroom fixtures and sink and shower had not been really cleaned in a long time. The whole room was dingy. We did enjoy the bar and restaurants onsite.
