I had an absolutely horrible experience at The Berkley, Las Vegas. Expedia listed check-in at 3 PM, and we arrived around 2:30 hoping to either be accommodated or wait comfortably. Instead, we were told it would cost an extra $50 to check in early—so we waited. While checking in, I asked about late checkout and was told 10:30 AM was fine, and to call in the morning to see if we could extend it. That seemed fair—until the next morning. I called at 7 AM and was told they were fully booked. No problem—until the receptionist told me I needed manager approval just for the 10:30 late checkout I was already promised. I calmly explained what the first receptionist told me, and that's when things went downhill. The woman was incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. To top it off, when I asked for a bellhop to help with luggage, I was told I couldn’t get a trolley without showing ID—even though my ID and credit card were already on file. I’ve never stayed anywhere with such ridiculous policies or such rude front desk staff. I didn’t get her name because I didn’t want further conflict, but the whole experience left me disheartened. I booked based on positive reviews but felt completely duped. Between the loud hotel, limited pool hours, and terrible service, I’ll never stay here again. Zero stars if I could.

Expedia listed the price as including all taxes and fees but when we checked in we were hit with an $85 resort fee even though it was 10:00 at night and we were leaving early in the morning. Clearly, we didn’t use any of the resort amenities we paid for.

We stay here whenever we are in Las Vegas. The location and ease of access to the 15 mean we can get into town fast (to Whole Foods, for example). The restaurants inside the Silverton make for convenient dining choices for those who want to grab something and stay in the quiet part of town. Bass Pro is right there for, well, Bass Pro lovers...that includes my family. As this trip was for my wife's birthday, I requested an upper floor via Expedia's messaging. The Berkeley put us up high with a great view of the city. The staff were friendly as usual. Ace was courteous and efficient, getting us checked in with no questions left unanswered. Also as usual, the facility was very clean and the room well-appointed. Bonus points for fixing that elevator! As stated before, we'll be back.

the building is really nice and the pool was nice as well. i liked how it was quiet, away from the crowds. staff was nice but i noticed everytime i tapped my card to enter my room, there was always a static shock. it was everytime too, and there was so much static inside the rooms as well. comforters and sheets had some noticable stains as well.

Lovely and spacious apartment only down side was getting into the room the room key sparked and sent electric shocks through u which was scary I told a gentleman at the lobby and he said it was because of the carpet well if they know put mats down or something because it was painful gettin electric shocks every time I wanted to enter the room
